Subjects that involve practical application—such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Accountancy with Computer Applications, etc.—include practical examinations. These are usually held internally by schools under the supervision of external invigilators appointed by the board. Practical exams test students’ hands-on skills, observation, analysis, and ability to perform experiments or tasks as outlined in the syllabus. Internal assessments also include marks awarded for class performance, lab records, viva-voce, and attendance. Together, they contribute to the final score of the subject.
