Navik (General Duty – GD)

• Required Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Maths and Physics from a recognized board of education approved by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Navik (Domestic Branch – DB)

• Required Qualification: Must have passed Class 10th (High School) from a recognized board of education approved by COBSE.

⚖️ Mode of Selection – Coast Guard Navik CGEPT 02/2025

The selection process involves 4 stages:

✅ Stage I: Written Examination

• Objective-type computer-based test (CBT)

• Different papers for GD and DB branches

✅ Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• Running: 1.6 km in 7 minutes

• Squat ups (Uthak Baithak): 20 times

• Push-ups: 10 times

• All in succession with no breaks.

✅ Stage III: Document Verification & Initial Medical Exam

• Original documents verification

• Medical fitness check-up (Eyesight, Hearing, General Fitness)

✅ Stage IV: Final Medical Exam & Police Verification

• Final medicals at INS Chilka
