Educational Qualifications – Full Details

 

CGTET eligibility varies based on the applied level.

 

For Primary Level (Class 1 to 5):

 

Candidates must have any one of the following:

 

Qualification Type Required Qualification

 

Minimum Qualification 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks

With Teaching Diploma 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR D.Ed (Special Education)

Graduation Route Graduation AND 2-Year D.El.Ed

B.Ed Route 10+2 with 50% Marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed Degree

For Upper Primary Level (Class 6 to 8):

 

Candidates must have any one of the following:

Graduation Route Graduation with 50% Marks + 2-Year D.El.Ed

Graduation + B.Ed Graduation with 50% marks + 1 Year B.Ed

Integrated Course 10+2 with 50% marks + 4-Year B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed

Special Education Graduation + B.Ed (Special Education)
