SSC has released the notification for Combined Hindi Translators Junior / Senior Translator Examination 2025. Students who want to appear in this exam can apply online between 05 June 2025 to 26 June 2025 through SSC website. ๐Ÿ“˜ Educational Qualifications – SSC JHT 2025

To apply for SSC JHT (Junior Hindi Translator), candidates must fulfill any one of the following:

โœ… Option 1:

  • Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

โœ… Option 2:

  • Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

โœ… Option 3:

  • Master’s Degree in any subject (other than Hindi/English) with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory subject.

โœ… Option 4:

  • Master’s Degree plus Diploma or Certificate in Translation from Hindi to English & vice versa
    OR

  • Two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Govt offices or PSUs.

  • Objective Type Questions

  • Subjects: General Hindi & General English

  • 100 marks each

  • Duration: 2 Hours

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks

โœณ๏ธ Stage 2: Paper-II (Descriptive)

  • Translation & Essay (Hindi ↔ English)

  • Total Marks: 200

  • Duration: 2 Hours

  • Conducted for those qualified in Paper-I
