For Office Assistant (Multipurpose), candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a University recognized by Government/UGC. 

Must be proficient in the local language of the Recruitment RRB (as prescribed by the participating Regional Rural Bank). 

Working knowledge of computers is desirable (not mandatory but preferred). 

Age Limit (as on 01/09/2025): 18 to 28 years for Office Assistant post.

The selection for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) under CRP-RRBs XIV (2025) involves:

1. Online Preliminary Examination (Prelims) — all registered candidates appear. 


2. Online Main Examination (Mains) — only those who qualify prelims will be shortlisted for mains. 


3. There is no interview for Office Assistant posts. Final selection is on the basis of Mains result + normalization + reservation rules + regional preferences. (Standard IBPS RRB practice; see notification) 


4. For certain reserved-category candidates who opted, there is Pre-Examination Training (PET) before the exam.
